Who?
We are Aaron and Kelsie Kleinmeyer, and we met in the 8th grade. We’re celebrating our 12th wedding anniversary this year. In December of 2017, we began dreaming about a way to invest in the lives of those in our community.
We believe marriage matters. We believe weddings should be affordable. And we believe that people should live life to the full.
This is why we built The Brim in 2021, a free wedding chapel that serves the Kansas City community and has been awarded Best Wedding Venue several years in a row.
We were inspired to do so after visiting Chapel Dulcinea in Austin, Texas, the first free wedding chapel in the world. After learning how the Williams family did it, we began our long journey to the second free wedding chapel in the world. When they offered a second gift to Austin residents by building RomanticSpotsAustin.com, we jumped at the chance to be the second Romantic Spots site and partnered to build RomanticSpotsKC.com.
Why?
T he Romantic Spots website is our gift to happy couples who are looking for something fun to do, and for daters who are fearlessly seeking their match.
Marriage is rewarding, but hard. And so is trying to find the right person. Our mission is to make all of that a little bit easier, livelier, and more successful.
Being able to see more of the city you live in, finding a wider range of joyous experiences and adventures, and making meaningful memories together, it all leads to happier lives and tighter bonds. We believe the gift of flight is reserved for those who jump.
Despite our family growing with 4 children, we make it a point to continue celebrating date night together, while making time to offer a free premarital workshop called Veraison, to help couples start their marriage strong. Statistically speaking, the divorce rate hovers right around 37% in our country. For couples who go through courses before getting married, that number goes down to 22%.
Intentionally investing in these things makes your relationships (and your lives) that extra bit fuller. And we want your lives to be filled to the brim.
