What makes it fun

Black Hoof Park is a 231-acre park including a 35-acre deep-water lake called Lake Lenexa. The park features a one-of-a-kind dam and spillway, as well as numerous kilometers of pathways through open grass and wooded sections. You'll be able to enjoy gorgeous scenery and see a variety of species. Lake Lenexa allows non-motorized boating and fishing.

The lower level of Stone Wall Shelter is a great setting for a smaller birthday party. Great views, intimate, playground and bathroom nearby. I reserved it.

The views from the dam are fantastic! The new disc golf courses are beautiful and will challenge players of any skill level. The expansive playgrounds are great for kids.

Many activities to do at this park. There are kayaks and bikes to use, as well as a large shelter, playgrounds, nice bathrooms, and 2 disc golf parks. There’s an 18 hole course, and an easier 9 hole course along with a beautiful hiking trail!

BE-AU-TI-FUL Park. Nice and clean trail to take the kiddos on a walk. The breeze from the wind made it even better. Very beautiful. The bathroom definitely needs to be cleaned. The only con for this place.

Black hoof park is a beautiful spot! Two playgrounds, a nature play area, nice paths for biking or hiking, a huge shelter, and clean bathrooms! There's also a water feature for kids and lots of shade- making it perfect on a hot day.

Nice park. Entire walk around can be done quickly enough. Beautiful scenery to look at while you walk or run here. Dog friendly park.

First time visiting this park and the trails are long and winding and great for exercise. The lake is big enough to take a small boat or canoe out. They also have a few playground areas for kids. Overall it's A+.
