Our group came in loud, clueless, and ready to throw things. Enter: Bethany. The axe whisperer. The flannel-clad goddess of precision and patience. She taught us how to throw without losing toes, cheered us on like we were Olympic hopefuls, and somehow kept a straight face while we named our targets things like “Monday” and “my ex’s playlist.”
Bethany was attentive, hilarious, and made sure everyone from the axe naturals to the “is this the right end?” crowd had a blast. She deserves her own throwing lane and a trophy shaped like a hatchet.
10/10 would bury the hatchet again. Preferably with Bethany leading the charge.
