What makes it fun

George B. Case donated land for a park to the city in 1944 on the condition that it be called Ermine Case, Jr. Park in honor of his father. Ermine Case, Jr. was born in 1841 in Columbus, Ohio and moved to Kansas City in the 1860s. He was a lawyer and real estate developer who died in 1886. A few more parcels of land were later purchased to complete this 1.67 acre park. The riverview from the park is beautiful and a perfect place for a romantic picnic.

Great park with awesome views to the east west and north. The lookout over the river, KCK and the west bottoms is one of the best in town.

I love that spot, I can watch trains in the west bottom's and also watch planes land and take off but it's gone bad, the city has let the trees grow too tall down below and blocking the views up above, sad really, it's one of the best views of both Kansas City's and the Kansas and Missouri rivers! Can't even see the new Broadway bridge being built right now, sad. Hope the city fix's this soon!

This park has a gorgeous view of the river and the downtown KCMO airport. The only bad thing I've gotta say about this particular location is simply that the rude and absolutely disrespectful homeless community is trashing it up extremely badly. I understand that they're homeless, but c'mon you don't gotta destroy such beauty. I'll definitely be coming back whenever it gets warmer and taking some more pix

Beautiful views overlooking city! Sunsets are beautiful 😍 off street parking was a little challenging. They have an updated park for the kids to play on with new equipment. I will definitely be back!
