Tucked in Raytown MO. This park offers an easy paves, sometimes slightly bumpy path into a wooded area. Shade is plentiful and you really feel in nature. Easy for kids and pets to navigate. Parking easy. Negative is no on-site bathroom. other than a PortoJohn. Happy trails 👣.

Great family hike! Easy to traverse, plenty of spots to stop and enjoy picnic lunch. Site could use some love. Trails were over grown in spots. Nature center was closed when we visited, porta potty was available.

We took the grandson to see the cave and other interesting things there. The trails are very nice and have well guided signs. Good place to walk and take the kiddos.

Just a quick 10 min stop. Never knew thus was here. Ventured to the cave and saw a masonic chimney. Walked the dog. Never know what's around the next corner. Just simply cool! Left phone in truck, so no pics. We will be back for more in a couple days. Will take and post pics then!! Free camping for Scouts. Gonna check into family camping also!! Go check this hidden gem out!! Right now!!

Good little trails. My kids and myself loved it. Watch out for all the poison oak and what not but otherwise great little adventure.

Little cave. Nice hike. The trail markers are a bit confusing.

I love visiting Cave Spring Park. The trails are fun for nature hiking. The chimneys are an interesting bit of history from the Settler's days. On this visit we found The Tree. It is a sight to behold. It had a bunch of blue striped lizards on it that were really interesting. Skinks maybe? Every visit you'll see something new! At the entrance there is a little lending library where you can leave a book and take a book if you wish. We have plans to come back with some books to share. Definitely come on out and stretch your legs here and bring the kids.

It looks like a tiny park on the map but arriving there are so many winding paths and trails. I do wish things were labeled with information explaining it and what it is. Saw these amazing "100year old" chimneys but it doesn't explain why they were built or what they were part of.

We forgot it was Friday and you needed reservations but the staff was very nice and we did not have to wait long for them to find us a table for 4. The food was pricey but good. The bread and spreads were tasty. Our server Sara was very knowledgeable and friendly.

Nice little slice of nature in the middle of the town. There are a few little hidden caves sprinkled throughout the path. The little pond could be cleaner but that's just me nit-picking. Overall, it's a great little get away for a nature pause during your day. There are benches throughout the park as well, which makes it a perfect spot for quick meditation sessions. Also, be on the lookout for hidden geocaches!

Came here with my brother to take pictures one summer before covid. And returned recently with my youngest son to walk the trail. It was amazing both times. The scenery, the smells, the quiet calm and peace. This is exactly what I was looking for and exactly what I got. I can't wait to return!!
