What makes it fun
The Wornall House, built in 1858, is one of the few Civil War-era homes still standing in Kansas City. During the Battle of Westport, it served as a field hospital. The Wornall Museum is built to look like it did in 1858 and contains numerous objects that belonged to the Wornall family in the nineteenth and early twentieth century. The mansion also houses Civil War and Battle of Westport antiquities.
