Explore the Crossroads Art District in Kansas City for murals, graffiti, street art, and public art. The downtown area of Kansas City is filled with bright, whimsical, and thought-provoking art created by local, national, and international muralists. We'll explore the east and west Crossroads Arts Districts, wander through awe-inspiring passageways, climb to an unexpected rooftop, and see as many murals as possible on this tour. One of Laura's favorite aspects of this trip is that it shows a side of Kansas City that isn't typically seen. Walking through Artist Alley is an eye-opening experience, filled with brilliant color and images. If we're lucky, an artist will be working on a piece while we're on the road. Wear comfortable shoes; we'll be walking up to three kilometers on level terrain.
