What makes it fun
The Restaurant at 1900 serves award-winning Chef Linda Duerr's modern American cuisine, with inspirations from her native New England, as well as Italian and French cuisines. The menu changes seasonally and is often refreshed. Wines, beers, and spirits from around the world are available on the wine and beverage lists. The cocktail and spirit-free beverage menus are updated on a regular basis as new and interesting ingredients become available. The Restaurant at 1900 is inspired by The 1900 Building's modernist style. The "tulip" columns that are so unique in the overall building design are also integrated into The Restaurant's entrance. Lester Goldman, the late artist and Kansas City Art Institute Professor, created the artwork in the main dining room and a sculpture in the private dining room.
