This place was an awesome experience. I was wanting to do it on our anniversary. They were closed.Chris opened on Sunday just to do it for us. Great place.

Over all it was a great experience. The guide was great. Some areas the water smelled bad. But nothing that a little breeze didn’t help. If you’re looking for something different to do it’s a fun thing to try.

Too expensive for what you get. We were on the water for 10 minutes and repeatedly pressured to tip. Also, we weren’t comfortable with the questions the staff kept asking our group. They made us feel uncomfortable for having dressed up for the experience.

We had a wonderful experience taking a sunset Gondola ride in the plaza. Our guide was amazing the music and the ambiance reminded me of my experience in Venice, Italy! Definitely a must do experience in Kansas City!

Very beautiful view, both before and during the sunset! There's also gondala rides, if you're curious and haven't been on one before! Definitely a good date idea for those looking to spend a fun evening on the creek!

Absolutely amazing experience! We lucked up and got a slot due to a cancelation. Trey was our gondalier, and he did such a great job! You would have thought that you were in Venice! The gondola was so romantic. There was even Italian music playing as we cruised. It is short, but it's a must do experience!

We live in TN and I chose to come to Kansas City specifically for Ambiance on the Water. Her 50th birthday was coming up and I wanted to surprise her and do something special that we have never done before. Her birthday was on a Monday, but they are not open on Monday’s. I took a chance and called anyways. I spoke with the owner Chris and he was very flexible and I was able to book in advance the special occasion package on the Monday of her birthday. When we arrived we were greeted with a long stem rose, 2 glasses, a bottle of sparkling grape juice, birthday balloons and a heart shaped cake with her name on it. Our float on the water was about 45 minutes, very peaceful and romantic. The sunset had pink, orange, yellow and light blues that complimented the city lights around us coming to life. Afterward we were able to walk to our restaurant that we chose. I would recommend Ambiance on the Water and Kansas City area in general. There are so many things to see and do here and our first ever trip to KC was one to remember.

This is a must for anyone wanting to do something interesting and very romantic. Me and my future wife came here and we got the romance package which was definitely worth it. We absolutely loved coming here and it reminded us of Italy. We both highly recommend any one who is looking for a romantic experience to definitely give this a try.
