They make it for you***

In the 2 hour make-it-yourself crackle cup class you get 3-4 minutes (heating the glass, rolling on the color, and helping blow air) of participation. The rest of the time is spent watching the instructors make everyone’s cups. We did not actually get to shape the glass or do any of the “making” part.

I certainly did not expect to do the whole process myself as a beginner, but didn’t think I wouldn’t get to do ANY step in the process of shaping the glass.

This was a little disappointing as it is advertised as a “make your own” class and I expected a tiny amount of glass-working opportunity. The majority of the time is spent watching them churn out others' glasses

We just heard of this place on the web, and instantly jumped in the car to view the event. It is completely amazing, family friendly, and open.

The Belger Annex glass-blowing class was so much fun! I've attended Belger Art classes in the past, but the glass-blowing course takes the cake!!! Our teacher Jess and the assistant were a blessing! They entertained our group, educated us on the history of glass-blowing, and answered all our questions, all while creating wine glasses. Both would inquire about our lives; it added a personal touch to the experience. You'll be involved in almost every step of the glass-blowing process! I can't tell you how much fun you'll have to watch your friends or family create a piece of art. The studio provides a captivating view of the city skyline too! I highly recommend this experience to Kansas Citians and tourists!
