We had a blast. It was a very unique and fun experience that worked for as young as our 7 yr old daughter, our active and fit 21 yr old college daughter and then for us minimally active parents. Each game room was flexible enough to accomodate whoever in your group wanted to participate or not, with freedom to skip rooms.
We would've liked to see more instructions provided in each room before the timer started, as the barcode to scan for a clue is on the outside of the room and therefore requires you to exit the room and start over. Anyone who's waiting outside the door sees that you are wanting to take up more time and restart. This makes you either feel bad when you try again, even if you literally didn't make it more than a few seconds the first time, or the guilt makes you give up the room to let them go instead.
Having more instructions and clue barcodes inside the rooms would be much more helpful. It took us a few tries on several rooms just to figure out what to do first before really accomplishing anything. So if taking up too much time is a concern for the possible waiting groups, than maybe consider a max room timer inside the room for the total retries or continuations each time you enter. Then when that max time is up it would require you to go out and check for waiting parties before starting that max time again. That would at least allow for a few attempts when you haven't quite figured it out yet while not making you feel like you need to give up and move on so quickly just because you have to be seen exiting in order to restart. Also a few of the games weren't working properly, such as when throwing a ball to turn off the designated light, yet it not registering the ball as making the shot even after repeatedly doing so. Given how many rooms there are though, that is a smaller issue, as it does not hinder your ability to keep going or to do the many other rooms.
Overall we loved it and wished there was one near us. If a few of those smaller hindrances were cleared up, it would be 5+ stars!
