What makes it fun
The Crown Center Square Fountain is the biggest and best in Kansas City. The fountain's 49 water jets and 48 water shooters blast water up to 60 feet in the air before returning to a 37,500-gallon underground reservoir. At a rate of 2,200 gallons per minute, water is recycled into the fountain. Check out our dancing water exhibits, which are matched to music recorded by musicians of the Kansas City Symphony for Crown Center. High-pressure jets shoot sprays of water in highly orchestrated patterns during the shows.
