Well made rooms, friendly staff, fun puzzles! If you're able, go with 6-8 people. 10 was a bit too busy!

Dr Boyles Terrifyingly Twisted Dentistry was the best room I've escaped from by far!!! My family and I have gone to most of the local escape rooms in the Kansas City area. Full Moon Escape has the best aesthetic and rooms. The host is great and welcoming. The entire experience is a blast. A must for Kansas City escape rooms

The best escape room we've done! We did the bank heist. So many cool features! I've never seen features like these before! The staff were amazing. Just the right amount of helpful - it was part of the registration process to say what we wanted in terms of hints.
The location seems sketchy. I wouldn't schedule a room there at night. It's in a big building used for a haunted house in the fall and you have to walk through the maze of stairs and hallways... probably not kid friendly.
But we'll definitely go back to do their other rooms!

Unbelievable escape rooms here! We’ve done at least 50+ rooms over the years and this place easily ranks in the top 5! The staff are so enthusiastic and kind, the building is the most unique place ever, and the rooms are intricate and clever and just plain awesome!

In from NY on a visit. Place was huge, super cool and creepy! Seemed to be in a sketchy part of town and we were a lil bit terrified BUT after a few technial difficulties we had a great time!! We did the Bank Heist room. Definitely recommend Full Moon Escape!!

It would have been nice to be told before paying that we had to go up 4 flights of stairs. Once we got in the room, the puzzles didn't seem to have any logical order to them. Also, one of the safes would not open when we had the right combination, so we wasted about 10 minutes before we had to call in an employee, who couldn't get it open either. I would have given less than 2 stars if the employees weren't nice and the building wasn't really cool.

1st time here was Saturday and Special Shout out to the young gentleman (I wish I could've gotten the name ) who let me in and Laney!! It was my friends birthday and it was our first time and Laney made our first experience amazing !!! It was lots of fun and lots of riddles and even for beginners we were able to pass ( with a lot of help of course hahaha) we will definitely be coming back to try out that Dentistry since it's a little more spookier than the Merlins Room!!!

One of the coolest old buildings to build escape rooms and haunted houses in! Great history too!
Design of rooms is wonderful. Rooms need just a bit of polish in game play but not a lot.

My 13 year old daughter and her 2 friends got out of The Ghost of Merlin room in 53 minutes, without asking for any clues. It was the best escape room we've ever been to, so many doors to other rooms with more clues to open more doors to more rooms, very unique experience and the staff was super helpful and very friendly. Highly recommend for all ages!

Great experience. We frequent escape rooms and this was great. So excited to work through all of their rooms. Completed Manhattan Project, so fun. Rooms well done and thought out. Really enjoyed ourselves and look forward to doing them all.

I had a blast!! The employees were very knowledgeable and professional. They went above and beyond to assist us. Although we didn’t escape the Beast Tool Room, it was soooo fun!!! Will return!

Oh my gosh I cannot recommend this place more! Me and my family went for our first time and did the dentist escape room. The atmosphere and puzzles are so unique and make you feel great when solved. The employees are very informative and very kind and helpful. Definitely worth your time :)

Amazing escape room. So well done!!!! Puzzles are unique and fun. The Merlin room was so much fun we ended up doing the dentistry the same day. People were so nice and enthusiastic about the work they put into their rooms. Such an amazing experience. Leagues better than any other escape room Ive done so far (including breakout). I cant rave enough about this place!!!

We have done just about every escape room in the KC area (yes, we are addicts). The escape rooms at the Beast are really the best. So much atmosphere and immersion and fun. They truly are masters at designing rooms. We have done Merlin and the Manhattan Project so far. Loved them. Highly recommend both. The staff is really great and the rooms are challenging and fun. The only thing I don't like is the deduction of 5 minutes of your time for a clue. What I do love is that they don't go ahead and walk you through the solve if you don't escape. With the limited number of rooms we have in KC, if I don't solve one, I want to go back and try again. We are excited about the new rooms they are currently building and will definitely be back!

The Merlin escape room (their easiest room) was great! I came with my family, a party of 8, and we got it done in great time. There were a lot of surprises, some super tricky clues and some a little easier. It was a lot of fun and we could tell a lot of effort was put into its design. I highly recommend and will return :)!

We booked The Ghost of Merlin for 2 adults and 3 teenagers. This was everyone's first escape room except mine, and it was so much fun! We all had a blast with the puzzles and surprises along the way. The room itself was an actual room for the haunted house so it was decorated really cool, and thankfully had no creepy crawlies jumping out at you! We plan to try the other rooms soon. Definitely recommend this escape room to anyone!
