I witnessed a concerning incident today involving a tour driver. While walking with a friend at the intersection of 7th and Grand, we had the right of way to cross on a red light. However, as we were walking, the driver attempted to make a turn and almost hit me. If my friend hadn't pulled me out of the way, I could have been hit. It's important for drivers to pay attention to pedestrians, especially when they have the right of way. After this experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend this tour to anyone.

*** Regarding your response, I work in a business downtown, and we often walk to various restaurants and other places. I take writing reviews seriously, and I must say that you were quite reckless. You should have been more attentive and avoided making the turn and stopping in the crosswalk while we were clearly already in the middle of it. We made eye contact with you, and your attitude was far from pleasant. It's unfortunate that I have to leave this review, as we are enthusiastic about supporting local businesses and our city, but your behavior is unacceptable.

I didn't actually get to go on my scheduled tour due to the CrowdStrike IT outage messing up my flight, but before I could even tell them the reason, they refunded my money when I called to cancel. I'll definitely go next time I'm in town!

This tour is absolutely fantastic for newcomers or visitors. I gained a wealth of great facts about Kansas City and the surrounding areas. It was indeed a lot of fun!

Nice and informative by the lady who narrated it; July 8, 2024, 1000 am. She was not the friendliest person I have toured with. I almost did not get on as she could not find my name I guess since I changed from 1 pm, to 1000 am, tour a few days ago. I tried to show her my bar code, but she was more interested in checking off her list of names. That seemed to rattle her a bit.

However, super crowded, every seat was taken, and we did not stop to get off, stretch or have an opportunity to take pictures. I have been on many Viator tours, and this one was the most packed one I have ever seen. I was on before the trolley got crowed and a lady with not one, but two dogs ended sitting next to me. These were not emotional or service support animals. Yet, they were tame and cause absolutely no issues. Yet, No one ever asked if I or the others are allergic to pets, scared of them, or do not want pets outside of service animals on board. It did not seem like it was even an issue, she came and sat right next to me without reservations. The trolley operator said absolutely nothing. Do not get me wrong, we have dogs and cats, but crowding in a tour with two dogs is a bit much. v/r. Dr. K. King

Our driver/guide was fun. The trolly took us through several districts and points of interest. I would recommend it.

This is the fifth or sixth time we have taken the trolley tour of Kansas City. Have to give kudos to Carla, our driver/tour guide, who does a great job of describing all of the local sites and infuses a great sense of humor with the tour. Would recommend to anybody who has friends or relatives in town, and want to give them an overview of what to see and where to go in Kansas City. Keep up the good work KC Fun tours and tell Carla she does an outstanding job.

This tour is the best! We have been on many tours in the US and Europe and this was my favorite. You get the history, fun facts, comedy and wonderful stories about Kansas City. My daughter will be visiting soon and I will tell her this is a must to do on her trip.

We took the KC Fun Trolley last night for a view of the plaza lights. Even though we see the lights every year, taking the trolley gave us a whole different perspective—A little more knowledge (by a very fun tour guide) and a lot of lights! There are neighborhoods tucked in around the area that have fun light shows too. If you have family coming in town who want to see a little of our local area over the holidays (or if you just want to soak up a little more of our city) this is a fun way! An hour and a half of roaming the city in a trolley makes fun family time.
