Overall a great place to eat. I ordered a soju flight, side of kimchi, fried pork dumplings, and the Spicy BBQ & Rice Cakes with pork. I enjoyed every bite and sip of my meal! I came in near the end of the day, so business was slow, and it was pretty quiet inside. I got great service, and enjoyed my meal while watching Korean animated shows playing at the bar.

Had to wait for a while to even be greeted, and the bathroom wasn't stocked very well. The tiny side of kimchi was a bit high at 6 dollars, but the food tasted excellent. My experience in Korea spoiled me with the constant free kimchi so spending 6 dollars for an excellent side of kimchi was a bit shocking. The japchae was phenomenal, and I asked them to make it spicy and it was reasonably spicy for a restaurant. Definitely recommend this joint.

Walked in and NO one greeted us. Sat down; nothing. As a joke, said "this place would be so easy to rob" then finally a waiter showed up. Bulgogi was meh at best. The fried chicken was tasteless and dry. Calamari was over fried. Rangoon was forgettable. Green curry was basically warm cream with veggies. That's our opinion. Make of of what you will.

We had an amazing experience at Kobi Q in Kansas City! The service was truly top-notch. The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor, and came out perfectly cooked. To top it all off, they surprised us with a bottle of their BBQ sauce as a gift, which was such a thoughtful touch. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for great food and genuinely awesome hospitality!

Excellent Curry Soup. Just enough heat to wake up you taste buds, and tasty enough to make you go back for more. Update: I recommend the Kimchi Fried Rice.

The spicy tofu soup is the tastiest soup I’ve ever had! Always love going here- excellent drinks, ambiance, service and arguably my favorite Korean food in the city!

Sad there aren't more soda options but the Korean BBQ Beef is AMAZING! Definitely recommend if you are feeling fancy.

Had a fantastic lunch here on a Saturday. Poor lady was working the restaurant floor by herself, but was super nice. I got beef dumplings, and the Spicey Chicken BBQ w/ Rice cakes. Both were fantastic and fresh. The dumplings were light and crisp, you could tell they were fresh. And the BBQ was very flavorful, had crunch from the veggies, rice to sop up the juice. The rice cake is like a gnocchi and I never had anything like it. Was chewy and a good contrast to the other textures. Wish this place was in a better neighborhood, but I'll be coming back.

Small on the outside and easily missed but a nice little gem. Interior is nice, the skylight is the highlight especially at lunch. Makes the space feel very open.
Menu isn't extensive but it's all good. My wife and I got a bunch of stuff. Ran up the bill lol but no complaints on any dish we ordered 👌🏾

Absolutely lights out. Each dish was flavorful, fresh and incredibly delicious. Our waitress was friendly, very helpful and really enhanced our dining experience.

One of our favorites was the Spicy BBQ Pork + Rice Cakes. It was so packed full of flavor, the pork was tender, the added onions and cabbage were a great textural difference and the rice cakes were perfectly cooked. The small amount of coleslaw on the side was a great cool addition for the spicy pork. The Garlic Mama Shrimp were gigantic shrimp that were fried to perfection. Not too much batter and the garlicy sauce was something I'll be trying to find in Omaha until we can get back to KC. The Sweet Garlic-Glazed KFC was unbelievable. The crunchy fried crust on the outside of the hot chicken with the sticky sweet sauce was an amazing combination. My family was stuffed from eating all the other items but we couldn't help but finish this plate of deep fried glorious chicken.

Beautiful ambiance, delicious food. Stopped in for lunch, but definitely want to go back again for dinner to see the place at night. I had the Toshi Bowl with a side of Korean Pickles, to die for. The pickles stopped me in my tracks, so flavorful! My husband and I left very happy.
