For more than 25 years, Mildred's has been a mainstay in the neighborhood cafe scene. What began as a simple "Ma & Pa" in the mid-1990s has grown into one of the most popular restaurants for breakfast and lunch. Mildred's has all your bases covered with an abundance of scratch-made baked goods, an extensive specialty coffee and espresso bar, and notably delicious sandwiches, salads, and soups. Many consider the "Standard Breakfast Sandwich" to be the best breakfast sandwich in town.

Our friend Travis insisted we get breakfast here. The food was really tasty and the prices weren’t bad for a trendy type of place.We went on a Sunday it was packed, but we did get seating. I noticed some people grabbed seats before ordering. I’m guessing they are regulars. That might be a good strategy in the future.

Went in on a snowy Saturday morning about midday. It was packed. We were going to eat in, but it is open seating and order at the counter and there is no organization to how you get a table. You basically just have to hover around a section and hope that there is unspoken code between others waiting, but while we were in the line I saw someone come in and cut in front of others waiting for a table while their other party joined the line. This could be better managed to avoid confrontations. The line moved pretty quick, but the people in front of you block the menu and so by the time you can see the menu you are about to be order. We ordered 2 coffees, a half sandwich, turkey chipotle wrap and the biscuits and gravy. About $45 total. The waiting area for coffee and take out is in front of the trash / utensils and so we constantly felt like we were in the way, and it was about a 15-20 min wait for food with coffee being half that time. The food was really good. The half turkey sandwich was loaded with a good amount of meat and cheese and was really fresh. The biscuits came with 2 pieces of bacon (snacked in them before the pic :p) and the wrap was also good. Overall it was good, but the hassle of a table and the long wait is the reason for the score.

The chai latte was tasty. I had the scrumptious vegan burrito with no potatoes. The gooey cake needs a new recipe. The crust at the bottom doesn't have a crunch to it. The iced latte was a little sweet but overall excellent would go back again

Part of my order was supposed to be 1/2 guacamole chicken club with NO bacon, and there was STILL bacon on it. The person it was for doesn't eat pork; they couldn't eat it. Also, orders after 3pm on weekdays are supposed to be 20% off. Mine wasn't.

Great food. Biscuit and gravy was unique and quite tasty. And The Standard Sandwich is fantastic. Cute place but pretty loud with all the young children on a Saturday morning.

Incredible ambience and even better food. Experience is always impeccable; special shout-out to baristas Madeline and Jasmine as they make the best iced mocha and always provide top-tier, friendly service.

This is a great place for breakfast and lunch, and this is not an unpopular opinion. Mildred's is always packed, and the line starts at the door. They do have carryout, though you might find yourself waiting with others who are waiting too if you arrive early. There were a few instances where my carryout bag was mistakenly taken, but thankfully the staff were able to remake my orders.Seating can be inside, or in the non-temperature controlled enclosed area with a fire pit on the other side of the restaurant. I love drinking my coffee by the fire during the winter months.I really recommend any of their steamed egg sandwiches, and their cranberry turkey sandwich. I also highly recommend their brioche cinnamon roll with your coffee. There are other great pastries to choose from behind the counter, but I go back to the cinnamon roll every time.

This place is amazing, it have really good sandwiches i got the guacamole LUNCH sandwich it was so good, i love it, also the desserts is good too, i like it a lot, the vibes are nice there. I just would like them to include more types of Service dogs, i have to leave mine at the car and was hot outside… mine is a “ESA”… anyways was really good food and coffee

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!! Great atmosphere, unique, clean. The food looked and tasted AMAZING! We got the Tandori chicken pita and the pork belly grilled cheese which were absolutely phenomenal!
