RoKC was brought to life by a group of ambitious local climbers who saw potential for world-class climbing in the Kansas City area. Our mission is to provide an enjoyable, inclusive, and adventurous environment where people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds can learn and be challenged. My kids like it here so I scheduled to arrange to consult for private coaching. They’ve assessed my kids and told me they’d reach out for scheduling. It’s been over a month and still haven’t heard back from them. I texted, called, emailed. Crickets. Yikes.

A true gem of the city, and better than most gyms I've visited in bigger markets. While the other ROKC locations are also great the north location's old industrial setting, and awesome staff take the cake.

I have had a membership to RoKC for about four months now, and I'm always happy to walk into this gym. They have a good mix of bouldering, top-rope, lead, and auto-belays. I took their Top-Rope belay course and the instructors were so friendly and helpful! They were great with making sure everyone was understanding the step we went over before moving on. The only thing I have noticed which is worth a warning, it can be a bit toasty in the gym on summer days (but what climbing gym isn't to be honest).

Absolutely loved this place!
First time at a climbing gym, and it was incredible!
Much cheaper than going to a bar, cheap for a date, easy to get started, all around incredible. Parking is not the best so don’t bring Slam Builds, but I am so excited to come back!

I am a big feller. And I took my grand daughter with me. The guy at the counter saw my shirt,recognized I was a veteran and gave me a veterans discount and was super helpful and very informative and respectful

ROKC North is a great facility. The staff is awesome and it feels very welcoming, especially for a new climber coming on her own - I didn’t feel intimidated or excluded at all and it has quickly become a staple of my daily routine. I just tried my first yoga class (Yin Yoga with Cole at 7pm) and it was so relaxing and restorative. It felt like a luxury spa experience! The monthly membership is reasonable and the many autobelay options mean that you can come solo and spend as much or as little time as fits your schedule.

I've been an active climber at the North Rokc and their Underground facility for the last 2-3 years. The facilities at both locations are excellent as well as the staff. I started participating in the gyms yoga classes several days a week
back in the spring of 2022 and its been a life changer. They offer yoga classes 6 days a week and the instructors are excellent. I am especially grateful for Cole, who's the Thur, Sat and Sun afternoon instructor. His style of instruction really resonates with me and I'm always bummed when I am not able to make his classes. I highly recommend.
