What makes it fun

Stockyards Brewing Co., located in Kansas City's Stockyards District, is a craft brewery that doesn't dwell on being a craft brewery. So why not? Because we opened Stockyards in 2016 with a simple goal in mind: to make good, easygoing beer for hardworking people while revitalizing a historic spot steeped in the character of our city. This was one of my favorite breweries I've been to yet. The atmosphere is great, it has a early 1900s vibe thats really fun. There's plenty of seating and there's some really interesting historical photos on the walls. The bartender was awesome and was playing the hits. I was surprised how affordable the drinks were. Usually I'm shell shocked by tabs at breweries these days but all the drinks here were super reasonable. Check it out!

Made a quick stop here and enjoyed the atmosphere. I’m not much of a beer drinker but the brew I had was quite nice. What I especially enjoyed was the merchandise. From what I could tell they are buying secondhand shirts and attaching their own branding. The result is unique, one of a kind, shirts. Super clever.

Woah Collin did such a great job with my evening meal tonight! Blown away by his professionalism and candor. Not since the dawn of the dinosaurs as there ever been a more charismatic creature! Please visit his table for a truly evocative experience. Breathtaking.

Awesome brewery in the West Bottoms in KC- a must try if you haven’t been! Located next to the Golden Ox, there is street parking available and a parking lot located behind it. Beers were about the same price as other breweries in the area, with a great selection of styles and flavors. They also sell growlers, clothing and gear, and they have live bluegrass music on Sunday’s! Loved the vibe inside, which is like if an old western saloon met a modern craft brewery.

Wow, what a gorgeous facility! Classy wood-paneled decor and a very welcoming atmosphere from the moment you sit down. On the beer side I highly recommend the Hef, one of the best I've ever had. Pretty solid saison as well. If you want a snack, the cowboy caviar is divine. Oh and they keep way better hours than a certain Duvel-owned brewery up the street.
