The College Basketball Experience

It's a slam dunk

What makes it fun

The National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame is housed within the College Basketball Experience, where visitors may commemorate college basketball legends and learn about the game's history. Yet, the CBE is more than just a place to look. The term "experience" appears in the title because fans can get a taste of collegiate basketball. Fans compete in "Beat The Clock" to make a game-winning shot before the buzzer sounds. Rebounding, passing, three-point shooting, free throw shooting, and other skills all have activity stations. Visitors can sit at the ESPNU desk and call the highlights of genuine NCAA basketball action for a change of pace. There are also various kiosks featuring coaching and player insights.

I had a fantastic time here- was totally surprised by how fun it is. Top floor is full of high standard courts and shooting drills, with interactive areas to measure wing span, etc. there is also information about former players and coaches. Would wholeheartedly recommend for individuals, friends and families.

My son had a great time playing on the courts and enjoying the variety of games available. It’s a fun, welcoming place with plenty to keep kids entertained and active.

Had a good time at the college basketball experience! Was fun to walk through the hall of fame section and read the write ups on all the players and coaches while the kid ran around and did the shooting and passing challenges. Not super expensive, and a relatively good value to bang for the buck. Thanks!

This place was fun. I worked an event here and they had a bunch of cool basketball games to play. It's cool to see all the college history from my favorite NBA players.

The College Basketball Experience is a cool tourist attraction, especially if you’re traveling with teenage boys. We visited the Kansas City area recently and decided to check it out. It’s an interactive museum where the young and mature can play and explore college basketball. The facility was clean and not crowded on a Friday (4th of July) afternoon. We did not pre-purchase tickets but had no issues at the door. They offer a senior and military discount and the venue can be rented for events, birthday parties and there is a gift shop onsite.

Really fun interactive experience great for the whole basketball-loving family. My middle school son was enthralled with all the challenges throughout, and we spent two solid hours exploring and playing. Really quiet on a Tuesday afternoon and we got right in.

If you are in KC and have kids you must stop by and do the college basketball experience it will be totally worth it. Our boys had so much fun. They played basketball games for over an hour. Learned some important information and then played again on the next level.
