    What makes it fun

The Drum Room Lounge is one of the most popular nightlife and dining spots in town. This lounge, which opened in 1941, has previously hosted Frank Sinatra, Glenn Miller, and Patsy Cline. Drum Room, which was renovated in 2012, keeps the features of its past while introducing a new quirky and laid-back ambience. Patrons may also try some of the best microbrews and wines at the bar, where mixologists create some of the most unique concoctions - both vintage and new. The food is equally impressive, being dominated by classic American favorites.

It’s not my favorite, back before they redid the restaurant when it still had the old school history feel it was way better. I probably won’t go here again just doesn’t live up to the standards that other bars are setting in KC

The bartender is a gentleman. He walks the walk! A true maestro of the cocktail. The place takes you back to a by-gone Era. The best experience during my time in KC.

Took my son here 12/21. We are both drummers and thought this would be a cool experience and Drum Room did not disappoint. He had the Salmon, I got the brick chicken. That's a dish that will stay on your mind. Excellent overall experience. You can tell the kitchen is operated by actual chef's. Bar staff were very friendly. We'll be returning for sure. If you're in downtown KC MO and you're looking for actual great food, I highly recommend.

We came here a few times as we were staying at the Hilton President. Absolutely loved the vibe and the service was impeccable. I just wasn't a huge fan of the cocktails in their menu. There is quite a variety on the menu and I think it's a really cool vibe in the establishment. Even though I didn't love the cocktails they created, I do think it's a cool place to go and I would recommend. There's a lot of other things to choose from on the menu.

Very nice bar, atmosphere, and history. The bartender had a packed room and was the only person working which affected speed of service. We enjoyed our drinks but the food was mediocre. We couldn’t even finish the gnocchi, pork chop was overcooked, sweet potato’s under cooked, and everything was covered in oil.Enjoy a drink, and go somewhere else for your food. This was WAY too overpriced for the quality of food.

Lovely chill place to have an evening cocktail with your date on a Sunday. Had The Carioca cocktail, it was smooth and flavorful, the base is made with resposado tequila, chef's kiss so good!

Our drinks were so good and we had a great time. Dim lighting and good vibes. Great wait staff

Historic spot for a drink. Work allowed me to visit quite frequently , if the budget allowed, I always stayed at this hotel, and the perk is that Drum Room is on the ground floor of the hotel. Great memories!
