It's a simple Museum with a lot of historical pieces. Could have spent all day looking at the detailed miniatures.

I loved this museum! It was a different level of miniature. There is also a little shop to buy your own miniature items. The toys section was good, too. I'm not usually interested in toy museums.

Probably my favorite museum in Kansas City for something more focused. If the expansive Nelson seems overwhelming, the miniature museum is perfect. The miniatures section is jaw dropping; imagine the tedium and frustration involved in making spindles the size of eyelashes. There are two fully clothed fleas. Weird, joyous, immaculate, unbelievable. A KC must! $10 per adult

Both adults and kids were entertained by all the incredible details held in this museum! The intricacy was astonishing and all the toys brought such a warm nostalgia. Loved it.

It's actually a lot more amazing than I had imagined it would be. There are actually some miniatures that are so small, they are set up under microscopes, so you can see them. Grab a magnifying glass on the way in and you'll be glad you did.

Roaring twenties Kansas City mansion housing miniatures of fantastic perfection is quietly, eerily fascinating. In a poshly appointed jewelry store, a gangster and his moll examine rubies and diamonds. A music studio seems as though its students have just left for the day…

This ice cream really hit the spot after a lot of walking. A lot of the menu items you could either get as a cond or malt and contained some sort of cereal topping. Super nice staff as well and a great location to outdoor night life and restaurants.

I went to this place to have dinner instead of wine tasting, and it exceeded my expectations. I thought that the main focus of it is wine, and food service is not something they pay much attention to. I'm glad I was wrong. The food was very good and so was the service. Each dish also has a recommended wine pairing, but you're free to pick what you want. I highly recommend this place to have lunch or dinner.

I'm biased because I love miniatures. I accidentally found this on Google Maps when planning a weekend in KC and I was delighted. The museum is in a great location, near other touristy stops. It is full of miniatures, well labeled, and nicely explained. It was active but not busy. I will return when I next visit KC. The toy portion of the museum wasn't labeled as well, but was still interesting - seeing toys from your childhood that have long been lost its fun no matter how old you are.

Jasper’s has a nice interior, but the food was not up to par. It was a warm experience being seated by the fireplace. The waitress was friendly, but a bit forgetful. I liked the plating of the pumpkin ravioli, especially the crumbs sprinkled on the sides of the dish. However, the taste was bland. The pork chops were seasoned well, but the meat was slightly dry. The salads were fresh and crunchy but underwhelming for the price.
