Really cool hotel. Excellent food, love the private spaces and gallery aspect of the hotel. The moving penguins were fun. Above all, the staff were helpful, friendly, and made the stay enjoyable.

Loved the hotel for its art and restaurant and the room was okay overall, loved the artistic touches but it had a problem: the toilet lid wasn’t completely installed so it came off every time when you’d shut it. Other than that all was good! Customer service was great both day and night, lots to look at and pretty clean! Also parking is not included but plenty of parking areas around

Nicely renovated historic hotel, with the expected quality art exhibit on the first 21 floors. The exhibit had some short term shows, as well as newer pieces.
The building itself seems to be surrounded by surface parking lots, it is fairly close to the convention center, and it is a 2 block walk to catch the free KC streetcar.
The staff was very friendly, and offered advice about parking, as well as some local sites. The room was fairly comfortable, even though it was at the end of a very long series of hallways. There are 2 elevators, though one is not necessarily visible while waiting for the first one you see.
There is a small coffee machine in the room, and the bathroom was very large, with amenities designed to reduce plastic use.
This was definitely a great place to stay while touring the lovely KC area.

The 21c in Kansas City is absolutely phenomenal! I cannot rate the cleanliness high enough, every single spot throughout was flawlessly clean. There were no paint chips or spots in the bathroom that could have been touched up more. What I loved most was how bright and tall the hallways into the rooms were, it was a great detail that could not be missed. Lastly, even though the hotel wasn’t offering valet at the time, the front desk agent was able to recommend secure parking at a very close location. All around, this is an amazing hotel!

These guys used the space in the historic building cleverly, making both the guest rooms and galleries feel very spacious. Bonus, there is fantastic breakfast, kind staff, and a parking garage right across the street. I only stayed one night, but felt like I had enough time to appreciate the work put into the place.

Great vibe. Art throughout the hotel is interesting and well described. The neighborhood was meh. Walkable to other restaurants and the street car but the place was surrounded by giant surface parking lots. Which made parking super easy BTW, but we like to walk. Walkable to City Market depending on your tolerance. Room was very nice, free coffee.

A neat concept with the art everywhere. The room was very simple, however i had amazing sleep quality for the 3 nights i was there as evidenced by my garmin watch. I can only chalk it up to a great mattress and pillows. The room was cleaned every day and everything seemed fresh and clean. Towels in the bathroom seemed a bit lower quality and while the gym might have the most vertical room of any in the country, it is very small/tight horizontally. The savoy restaurant has the best non alcoholic drink menu I have come across, and also had a nice atmosphere with friendly staff. Overall, it checked all the boxes for a great place to call home while visiting Kansas City, and while the room wasn’t anything to write home about aesthetically, it was all i needed to rest my head and start and end my day on a good vibe.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The staff was lovely, the art pieces were amazing, and our room was comfortable. The water pressure in the shower wasn't fantastic, but not worth dinging a star for that.
I will however caution people about parking in the parking garage across the street. It may have been a completely fluke event, but my car was stolen from the garage during the stay. Be cautious and definitely take all of your valuables into the hotel if you are going to park in the garage.

Every single person I interacted with was warm, helpful, and very kind. The property is very cool and full of interesting things. The Savoy is absolutely a cool spot to check out. I will also say traveling with a dog couldn’t have been easier at this property. Definitely check them out on your next stay in KC ♥️
