Bad experience turned into good.

Food was delicious but waiter made an unpleasant mistake.

Management called and apologized. Plus gave me a gift card.

This was our second time back. My wife loved the crab both times, the mocktails we got were amazing and they had rotated options for our second time. My first trip steak was definitely undercooked but was still good. (Ordered a special type of filet on the bone, I imagine they didn’t have a lot of experience cooking a filet with a bone) Second time I got the regular filet and it was incredible. Waiter gave us some free cheesecake to go for my wife’s birthday. We will definitely be back! (Side note, first trip they carted out all the steaks for us to see, and gave us a wonderful presentation, second time they didn’t offer)

Took my wife there for our 39th wedding anniversary. What can I say? It was freaking awesome!
Ben our server OUTSTANDING and I would recommend asking for him if you go to the KC location, our first time at 801 chop house and his knowledge of the menu, preparation of the dishes, was very helpful in making selections of dishes that we had.
Dry aged or wet he will let you know, add on to the steak he's got that, don't like a specific type of food, he won't mention it. I planned this event about a month in advance so I had a price point I was going to pay..Hang the cost cause this is really fine dining that is well worth the cost. It was Tuesday night so it wasn't busy.
They decorated the table and had a personalized note on a menu.
Photos while nice don't do the food justice. 20 Oz dry aged Bone in KC strip & 8 Oz wet aged fillet, scalloped potatoes, spring salad, with Key Lime pie & coconut sorbet Yes Please, Yummy stuff.

One of the best steak and lobster restaurants we have been to. The fillet mignon, green beans, fully loaded baked potato, wedge salad, crab cake, and lobster bites were fantastic! Our waiter Zack was very good. I I recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Could not have had a better meal than the one last night. Everything was on point. The Warm Octopus Salad is so good, great first course. The Freshly made Tagliatelle with pork/Sweetbreads is so legit. Homemade Lobster Ravioli is perfectly balanced and intense Lobster Flavor. Nothing is soaking in sauces or over done with nonsense that doesn't belong. Portions are perfect size (and priced) to course out several and make a night of it. Save room for Dessert, perfect ending. Thanks so much for a great dinner.

This restaurant was very upscale. I gave it 4/5 stars because I don't think the value for the price was there. We went to 801 chop house because we had a 300$ gift card and ended up spending about 475 dollars total between me and my date. My server's name was Cord and I dont think I've ever gotten better service. We had a great time at 801 chop house, but until I'm making that 200K+ a year, I don't think I'll be going back.

Sorry that I didn't upload a picture of my $90 24OZ dry aged steak and $16 side of scalloped potatoes, but by that time, I was engrossed in the environment and experience that the restaurant offered 😀
