The drinks are wonderfully made and we love the tiki vibe. We typically sit at the bar but have had good service anywhere we sit.

One of my favorite post-dinner drink spots! Doesn't matter if you're a local or visiting from out of town, you HAVE TO check this place out if you haven't already. Kon Tiki managed to curate a Hawaiian Coastal Paradise vibe in the middle of the Midwest. You truly feel like you're somewhere near a beach and not in KC. My favorite drink is the Golden Hour; it's flavorful, fruity - and strong. Love that they play the OG Godzilla movies. Makes for great conversation while adding a touch of nostalgia. Honorable mention for the funky shirts that the staff seems to wear. Love that. ALSO THEY HAVE SOUVENIER CUPS, so you can take a little Tiki home with you! Must check out this spot if you haven't already

Great spot, came in for drinks only, no food. The painkiller was great, wife has a non-alcoholic spritzer drink named Scarlet Lagoon that had her wishing they were available everywhere we went.

Clean and well maintained, new everything and well maintained. Bathrooms are clean, too. Social media vibe spot.

i had a fab time at kon tiki for a belated birthday celebration recently. the conchita shrimp and fish tacos were so delicious and you MUST get the cheese fries with pico and salsa verde…sooo yummy! (we ordered 2 servings and i still wanted more) my favorite drink was the island inferno, very refreshing and the perfect spicy kick in a fun optional tiki mug! looking forward to going back to this cool spot in KC very soon 🌺💥🌮🍹
