Seriously can’t recommend this new spot in town enough, ESPECIALLY FOR G FREE FOLKS!! The food and drinks are very accommodating and fairly priced. This Missouri based company has my favorite ciders I’ve had and I’m typically a beer guy.

I was so disappointed not having some of your cider. I made a vacation out here because I saw you there was a cider and you guys were a big reason why I’ve welcome to kc to show my Fiancee how gr8 this place was. I’ll give a 5 star again when you guys open so we don’t get disappointed again

When you really enjoy the cider and are in from out of town and you expect to be able to get some cider but the place is closed. I understand closing to focus on the cider but when you don’t update your social media for weeks despite having a location in another city that’s operating and many people asking questions with no response, poor business practice!

We were visiting the City Market from out of state and was so glad to have found their cider booth there. We sampled a few and decided to get a 4-pack of the seasonal pumpkin spice...but in hindsight, we probably should have gotten a case of it. I love a good cider and this one is top-notch. 🍷

I'm giving 5 stars ONLY because i see potential if the owner addresses the issues I Will state in this review.

    1. 1st of all. I'm not gluten free and I eat before I go in every time. However! Both times I visited I watched 75 percent of the guests leave because the gluten free kitchen didn't exist anymore.
I know Fri/Sat must be the best business days, but watching the disappointment from the guests can only add up to lost business and I want you guys to succeed. I heard from the workers talking to another guest, the owner is in negotiations with a new Vegan kitchen with Gluten free offerings and that would be so awesome and special for the Crossroads neighborhood 😀 👌

    2. The AC has been either off or turned down both times I arrived at open. Apparently NEST is the thermostat they use. But can't be accessed by the employees and is remote controlled. Probably by management in St Louis. In the weather we've been having, they need to edit the schedule to turn AC on HOURS before open... it was sweltering in there. And I almost left...

    3. Beer options looked great, but half of them were out :(

    4. Lack of cocktails. They DO have Liquor but are limited. WAS told they are trying to get owner on board with new bar program and that'd be so nice!

    5. The Untappd app / menu as appears on the screen... displays the ratings of each tap. Guys I have worked in the industry for over 10 years. And I know you can turn the ratings off. But as they display, most are rated 4/5 stars. I had the product. It's GREAT. but displaying the ratings are a major deterrent for guests that are new.

    6. The signage outside WAS COVERED BY TREES. down the street, one of the most popular breweries in the area: Casual Animal, you can see plain as day. I look up the street... and you CANNOT TELL THAT THERE IS A CIDER SPOT IN THE STRIP. both spelled out sign and square logo sign are completely covered by foliage. You should probably contact eh city about this to trim the trees!

I will be back! Space is great! Even of it's for live music which I heard might be possible. I never knew I was a fan of cider! If the owner and managerial staff would allow the current staff more control and fix other issues this place would have as much bizz as Casual Animal. It's such a great space, great spot and the gluten free crowd has no safe places in the Crossroads. It's an unseized market. And the owner should probably pay attention to what ppl want and not just what they 'like'

Ate here for the first time and it exceed our expectations. Some of our family must eat gluten-free, and the food did not disappoint. The fried chicken is some of the best I've had. The chicken and waffles were delicious. The burger was great, as was the flatbread. Enjoyed our meal and plan to be back.

Loved this! One of my new favorite go-to places. Just south of the old KC Star building so only 2-3 blocks south of the T-Mobile center. Great location. Super friendly and chill vibe. Couches and tables to fit whatever your mood is. Great waitstaff and the owners were engaging and fun.
Dog-friendly, which is always a big plus! We had the burger (smash burger style), added gruyere and the owner's special candied jalapenos to boot! Yum! Also, the cider flight was a lot of fun-- The flavors were so varied that I would definitely recommend getting a flight.

We were so excited to finally have this brick & mortar cidery open up in KC, and we were not disappointed! I tried a flight of ciders and liked every one of them! The Winter Hop and Sweet Lou’s seem to be our faves tho. We also took the tour at their grand opening. So much to Cider I didn’t know!

5/5! The staff is very friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is cute/chill. I got the chicken sandwich meal, it was huge and had great flavor. I’m in love with the “Brick River sauce”, it’s sooo good! The peach cider is super refreshing too! I look forward to visiting again, Welcome to KC!!
