Casual Animal Brewing Company represents a small batch, fresh as hell, and local approach. We prioritize quality over quantity, as well as community involvement over self-interest. Every pint of Local Motive beer sold directly benefits the non-profit organization chosen. Casual Animal allows regulars to help select the 6 non-profits which will benefit from the purchase of the Local Motive beer. The Local Motive beer changes every two months.
Bartenders here don’t respect the line or the customers waiting in it. After waiting over 30 minutes in a massive line that went to the front door, the bartender asked someone who cut on the side what they wanted over me. When it was my turn, I asked the bartender if I can just cut the line next time and order from any available bartender the response was “oh sorry I lost track of the line.”
Mind you there’s one single file line with everyone waiting, and as I got to the front I noticed that the bartenders were just asking people who cut on the side what they wanted over the ones waiting.
If that’s the system to order so be it, there needs to be signs or rope indicating you can order with anyone instead of waiting in line. There needs to be a better ordering system on a busy night with bartenders who have the decency to respect the people in line.
Waiting 30 mins for beer is ridiculous. It’s probably happening because they’re just taking orders from anyone without any rhyme or reason.
So my advice, if you see a line, just walk to the front of it, grab someone’s attention and you won’t have to wait in a massive line that the business doesn’t respect either. Or just turn around and leave. There’s plenty of other places. Won’t be back.
