Cocktails here are my favorite in all of Kansas City. Best pina colado, espresso martini, and gin based cocktails I’ve ever had. Also service was so kind and helpful as well as fast. Will be coming back every time I’m in town!

What I love the most, and there's a lot to love, are the incredibly creative bartenders. My go-to drink is a French 75, so I'll let the bartender know that and ask for their version. I've never had the same version twice, and I've never been disappointed! I discovered a couple of liquers and flavor combinations as a result.

As a wedding photographer, Fern Bar makes such a great spot for a small reception or party! After an intimate ceremony at Bardot, everyone met for drinks and treats at Fern Bar and the staff was so on top of things! It was obviously not their first rodeo. It's also located in such a cool area of Crossroads, there's lots of great photo opportunities just outside. I'd definitely recommend the bar for any sort of parties or private events. I'm looking forward to when I'm there next!

Fern bar is a great space, the architecture is lovely inside and out. Many ferns are present indoor as well as other plants. The staff is kind, conversational and provides great service. Drink menus are unique, on rotation and is a perfect accompaniment to a good book.

My first time in Fern Bar was convincing enough to try it again. The drinks were pretty good, service was just really slow. We went on a Friday night so it wasn’t too packed, the bar definitely needed some extra hands to get drinks out quicker. They were also in the middle of switching to a new menu so there was only 3 options for house cocktails. I am looking forward to returning in the summer.

Had been wanting to try Fern Bar for a while. It’s in kind of a difficult location as far as parking goes. It’s around the corner from Crossroads Hotel if you know that area. You have to find street parking which can be a pain in the butt. However, if you’re able to find parking and get inside, the bar is very cool. It’s inside of an old bank building. I’m not sure if they kept any of the old bank ambiance, but the bar is elegant and swanky. They focus on agave and rum based cocktails, so if that’s your jam, this is your spot. They do have a wide selection of liquors, so there’s plenty to choose from even if you don’t like tequila or rum.

From the moment we walked in, the place had a relaxed and welcoming vibe. The interiors feel warm and thoughtfully designed, with a cozy atmosphere that makes you want to sit back and enjoy your time. It doesn’t feel rushed or overly loud, which made it easy for us to talk, laugh, and simply enjoy being together. The food and drinks were impressive as well. Everything we ordered was flavorful and well-presented. You can tell that attention is given to quality and freshness. The menu offers a good variety, catering to different tastes, which made it convenient for our family since everyone could find something they liked. Service was another highlight. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we were comfortable throughout our visit. They were approachable and happy to answer questions about the menu, which always adds to the overall experience. Located in Kansas City, Fern Bar is a great spot if you’re looking for a place that combines good food, pleasant ambiance, and family-friendly comfort. Our visit left us with happy memories, and it’s definitely a place I’d consider returning to again.
