Our space is mindfully designed to create a modern atmosphere on a historic backdrop, from the historic brick walls and crystal chandeliers down to the various pieces of vintage furniture and, of course, the original fire pole.

We had our wedding here last Sunday and it was Amazing! The Firehouse Event Space has so much character, which we absolutely loved! The design throughout the building is seamless—they did an incredible job not only decorating the space but also making it flow perfectly for our group, including four children under six. The staff was present and helpful all day, and their support truly elevated our experience. We also rented décor from their sister company, and they were just as amazing!
Highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a beautiful, well-run space with exceptional service for weddings or even a bridal shower! I can not sing enough praise for this venue! I’m still riding a high from getting married in such a beautiful venue with amazing people who run it!

I loved firehouse kc's ceremony space so much! the getting ready areas were also really beautiful and aesthetic. The staff was also super nice. And best of all they are LGBTQ+ friendly.

Beautiful redone of the old firehouse. Upstairs are the bridal suites. Great bar area for guest. Can fit 150 people

We fell in love with the Fire House the moment we toured! Absolutely loved everything about this venue from the beautiful courtyard to the original fire pole. It is an absolutely beautiful venue that was perfect for our wedding! Katie is amazing and was a huge help every step of the way! They did everything possible to make our special day a dream come true. The Fire House will forever have a special place in our hearts!

My husband & I recently got married in October 2022 at the Fire House KC and we could not have imagined a more perfect venue to host our wedding. The venue is incredibly unique, detailed and spacious and sets itself apart from other venues in the area. The minute we toured the space we knew it was the one for us! We had a wedding of >40 people and the space was perfect for it. Because the space can fit much bigger weddings, we hoped it wouldn’t feel too spread out, but it was the opposite. It was intimate and special in every way possible! The Fire House KC team worked diligently alongside my wedding planner & vendors to make sure the day was as perfect as can be. No details were left untouched and we had absolutely no issues from start to finish. They were amazing! We are forever grateful. Highly recommend this venue for all weddings, big and small.

This venue was the very first that we visited and, honestly, the other venues we looked at afterwards didn't really have a fighting chance. As first responders ourselves, my wife and I loved how the FireHouse created such a beautiful space while still maintaining the historical aspects of the building. We were blessed with perfect weather, so we got to enjoy the full extent of the property including the outdoor courtyard for our ceremony and the upstairs space for our rehearsal brunch that morning. Our guests just loved all the unique features, and our photographer was over the moon about shooting in such an eclectic space. It is truly one of the most unique venues you can find in KC.

As for the staff, we can't say enough thanks to Janelle and Katie. Both were extremely responsive via email and helped out so much over the wedding weekend. We hired Katie fairly last minute to be our day-of-coordinator and she was SO WORTH IT! She was so easy to work with and executed our decor vision perfectly. Our wedding day was stress-free as she handled all vendor communications, site set-up, and last minute decor details. She even worked with us to pick some items up a few days later that we had accidentally left behind. Truly one of our best financial investments of the day! If in doubt, definitely hire Katie.

My husband and I toured this venue days after getting engaged. It was so unique and perfect for us, we didn’t even bother touring any other venues. Our guests couldn’t agree more. We had the greatest experience having our wedding at the Fire House! Katie in particular was absolutely amazing. I literally don’t know what I would have done without her. You will not regret booking your event here!

We had a wonderful experience with Janelle and Firehouse KC. Janelle was very responsive and extremely helpful throughout the process. The ceremony was in the courtyard and the seats were on a diagonal. The reception went inside with white tableclothes and chairs. The room looked wonderful! Everyone commented on what a cool space it was for the reception. Highly recommend this venue!
