This is the place to go if you want to learn everything there is to know about Kansas City's illustrious past. The Kansas City Museum, which will be refurbished in 2021, offers five galleries filled with historical items that chronicle the story of our city from the 1800s to the current day.

It is a free museum, the exhibition hall is very well arranged, and a female staff member at the front desk is very warm and friendly. It is a museum worth visiting.

Great place...every KC resident must see this place. It took quite a few years for the renovation, but we'll worth the wait....

Checked website multiple times to make sure it was open and after we drove all the way there we were told they were closed for the day without posting that information anywhere.

So neat! Loved the architecture of the building itself, so fancy! The exhibits were top notch. I especially liked the one on the cow town ballroom.

Terrific restored mansion. A wonderful tribute to a Great Philanthropist. Mr. Long left us with the spectacular WW1 Memorial. Thank you!

Great experience. The mansion which is now the museum is stunning. The exhibits are great. People who worked there were eager to answer questions. And NE KCMO is such a unique area.

Fountain City Winery was an Urban wine experience in the historic West Bottoms of KC. The wines are cleverly named after KC fountains and well designed labels represent them. We loved all of the wines on our flight... can't beat 5 pours for $8! Live music every Friday night. We'll return! Local owner #supportsmallbusiness

Cinder Block hosted Bay Boy for a Yelp event. This was my first time at the brewery. I was really impressed.
The space is huge lots of seating and a beautiful patio. It was too hot to sit outside but I will be back to play yard games.
Got the block IPA. Hoppy, balanced bitterness and just a little bit of passion fruit. Yum.

The grounds of this museum are so beautiful. We spent half of our time there walking and basking in the sun. The museum itself is grand. Walking up to it is an experience all on its own. The interior is laid out in some modern spaces and some traditional. Very amusing on every level. The surrounding area offers many great places to stay and enjoy. Whole family had a great time
