I had such a wonderful experience! This place has plenty of seating indoors and outdoors, so it works for any mood. The decor is warm and vibrant, really fun to soak in while you eat. Our host was on top of everything—friendly, prompt, and professional. The food was fantastic, and the mocktail I tried was just the right balance of flavors. The creme brulee they brought for my birthday was the perfect sweet finish to the night. Definitely a spot I’d recommend for a fun and relaxed outing!

A Kansas City staple. La Bodega is great for date night, girls’ night, anniversaries, or just because…. As long as you like sharing your food! Last night, we were there for another date night. We always get the PAPAS FRITAS CON AJO, ALBÓNDIGAS CASERAS, and HIGOS Y QUESO DE CABRA. We also tried HUEVOS RELLENOS CON ATÚN, PULPO A LA PARILLA, and MONTADITOS DEL CARNE DE CERDO. Everything was delicious! Do try the paella sometime. It’s so good. We got six plates for the two of us and couldn’t finish everything. There's plenty of food, but you can keep ordering more if you’re still hungry!
My only complaint is that the restaurant is always loud. They really need more fabrics and sound-absorbing materials. I still love the place, but it's something to keep in mind if you’re sensitive to sounds.

Our experience at La Bodega was overall really good. The food and drinks were delicious, and the service and atmosphere were nice.
We ordered one pulled pork tapa and the paella verduras and 2 Spanish coffees!
Flavors were unique and tasty.
We were under the impression that our coffees would be prepared tableside and were a little disappointed that they were prepared at the bar. We saw that another table ordered the same thing, and it was prepared at their table. So be sure to ask if you are expecting it to be a table side experience.
The other note I would make is that while the tapas are delicious, they are not a good value. The portions are very small. The paella, in my opinion, was a better value.
We would come back again, but would probably stick with just the paella and drinks.

Wow!! What a great experience! This was my first time at a Tapas restaurant. There were 4 of us that went on a Sunday early afternoon. Let's start with Liam our server, He went above and beyond explaining the dishes. His recommendations were fantastic. Then Sangria Sundays with half price Sangria, get the pitcher!! We split an order of biscuits and gravy they were tasty. Then on to the Tapas. We tried 7 different ones and there wasn't one we wouldn't order again!
Incredible food coupled with Liam's service, we will be back. Thanks Liam for a wonderful experience for the birthday girl in our group.

Mitch and Ben were our tour guides for a 10:30 a.m. tour. They are both knowledgeable, funny, and friendly. It was a great tour of a fabulous brewery. We traveled from StL for a Chiefs game and this was our tailgating on a cold windy day. An incredible value! Highly recommend it!

Wow! I can't believe I haven't been here before. Sat at the bar since it was busy but service was still extremely quick and the food was absolutely amazing!! Perfect for sharing family style. All of the staff was incredibly polite and gave the place a nice atmosphere
