Lazia exceeded our expectations in every way. The food was incredible, and the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely made the evening feel special. We ordered the focaccia with the optional additions, burrata, mafaldine alla vodka, milk-braised pork shoulder, and the lemon ricotta dessert. Every dish was beautifully prepared, and our server’s wine recommendation paired perfectly with the meal. We also highly suggest the nonalcoholic hibiscus spritz and salted amaro espressotini. Now we understand why so many people recommend Lazia, and we’ll happily be joining them!

Daddy daughter trip to KC was capped with a tremendous dinner inside the Crossroads hotel. Definitely recommend if you’re walking distance from the arts districts

Absolutely loved our experience at Lazia. The food was incredible and the service during our meal was incredibly attentive, friendly, and professional. The host interaction was a bit underwhelming, but it did not detract from how exceptional the overall experience was. The menu options were phenomenal (not too much butter as another reviewer stated), and everything came out hot (also another review we read). We will definitely be back!

Came across Lazia in Kansas City during spring break and decided to give it a shot—safe to say it did not disappoint. For a city known for BBQ, this place is a true gem if you’re in the mood for elevated Italian. The atmosphere feels upscale without being over the top, and the service matched it. They also did a great job accommodating our kids, which you don’t always get at spots like this. The milk-braised pork shoulder was incredibly tender and juicy—definitely a standout. The chicken parmesan was also done right, classic and flavorful. But the espresso martini stole the show. Easily one of the best parts of the night. If you’re in KC and want something different from the usual BBQ scene, Lazia is absolutely worth it.

This is a very romantic restaurant and perfect for date night. I loved the atmosphere and the food was good. However, just about everything is cooked in butter so not an authentic Italian cuisine experience but still tasty.

Wow! Lazia, I have no complaints! First off, I love everything about the crossroads hotel. Nothing in that building disappoints! The service was great, food amazing, and drinks delicious! The price is definitely not an everyday thing, unless you got it like that!! And if you do, let me go with you next time! But it is absolutely worth it! I had a ladies night with my homegirl, and we split the food since the portions were pretty large. Definitely find any reason to go try this restaurant! I spent $70 (before the tip) with having 2 cocktails and splitting the food with my friend.

Delicious food, quaint setting. While it is pricey, the appetizers and dishes are worth their price. We had the Fish Crudo, Eggplant fries and a delectable salad. The mains were the seafood pasta and that was a joy to the taste buds and the visual buds, long rolls of squiggly pasta. Apart from that was the meatball pasta, hearty and filling. The third wntree was the gnocchi which was cooked and flavored to perfection. Service was good although a tad bit slow and have some reluctance to switch out dishes and silverware between the apps and the mains.

Editing review: This place is good. Good service... the ribeye was cooked to medium, how we ordered it, but very fatty. Half was inedible. Served knew my wife didn’t prefer dairy but two dishes (dairy free dishes) were covered in parm. The lemon dessert was good. 3% cc processing fee left a bad taste in my mouth after a good meal. I will cook at home next time.

The vibe, atmosphere, and service were amazing, but unfortunately, we were disappointed with the food due to its excessive saltiness. We ordered the focaccia ,BACALA FRITTO, and ADANCINO MILANESE and found them to be just okay. However, we absolutely loved the lamb pasta(SPAGHETTINI).The saltiness of the dishes was so overwhelming that it felt like drinking ocean water.

First time visiting. Waiter recommended some great plates. Had a fantastic experience. The food was well prepared and presented. From the appetizers to the main course everything had a refreshing taste. The chicken was spectacular and the steak was also great. Would 9/10 recommend.

Incredible dining experience with fantastic, hospitable staff. Lazia’s modern take on Italian classics is exquisite. Flavors were well balanced I left feeling satisfied even with the smaller portions than one would expect at an Italian restaurant. If you attend with a party I highly recommend ordering the hand pulled mozzarella it is both freshly delicious and spectacle to see done table-side.

Was there for dinner on Easter Sunday celebrating by birthday. One of the top meals I’ve had in KC. Not only was the food amazing but the atmosphere makes it a whole experience. The server easily answered our questions and the cocktails were delicious. I hope I get to eat here again.

Such a great experience. The morning before our dinner reservation, I asked them for a favor to keep a large flower arrangement for my dinner guest's birthday. They were so wonderful and accommodating. At dinner I didn't have to track them down, the flowers were already prepared on our table. The food was incredible and the atmosphere and service felt effortless and luxurious. The amaro offered at the beginning of dinner was unique, and the cocktails we ordered were interesting and balanced. I loved everything about the experience, I can't wait to go back.
