Ordered 2 sushi rolls, crab rangoons, the ginger salad and Japanese onion soup. Soup and salad were good. The sushi rolls were mediocre at best and the crab Rangoons were the saddest rangoons I’ve ever had with barely any filling. Considering this is kind of a high end restaurant, I was definitely disappointed and won’t be back.

This place has gone way downhill over the years. The server was nice and that was the only positive. The chef was rude and pissed me off immediately with his “joking” rude humor. I ordered filet, my daughter ordered steak and after he cooked them he mixed them together and gave it to us mixed up. My daughter wanted to go here for her birthday and she said her evening was ruined by the chef’s attitude. The food was mid and after reading the reviews I can believe they are highly unsanitary. This will definitely be our last time here. 1/10 stars and that’s only because of the server.

Adding- the chef thought it was funny to put the just cracked egg shell on the table in front of my son while it was still dripping as if that’s not a Salmonella concern. Very annoyed.

Came here for a corporate dinner. Food was absolutely amazing, large portions. The hibachi is always a fun time, and would definitely come back again!

This place is entirely mediocre and not worth the money. The food is ridiculously overpriced for the quality and quantity that they give you. I have literally had better Chinese buffet sushi than this place has to offer. If this restaurant was located where I live instead of here in Kansas City, it would inevitably go out of business due to the competition.

$5 for one piece of eel nigiri and $12 for a basic roll that doesn't even surpass the realm of absolute mediocrity is absurd.

I will say that the saving grace of this place is the atmosphere as well as the fact that at the VERY least they aren't overstuffing their sushi with rice to penny pinch.

I got some sushi and hibachi. It was very good but packed with people. They ended up sitting us with some random people we didn't know, so it was pretty awkward. The employees were amazing and kind to my friends and i.

I love this place. Their hurricane roll is my favorite sushi roll in the city and possibly anywhere because it’s the best I’ve ever had so far. Everyone I’ve had try it agrees wholeheartedly. It’s so simple and yet so next-level with the combination of texture and flavor. You will not be disappointed. The staff is extremely friendly and the atmosphere is very comfortable and casual.

I got the ribeye steak and it was DELICIOUS!!! I definitely recommend you get it next time. Btw I got it at the hibachi part. Our server was very friendly and sweet. And our chef was SO fun to be around! Super kid friendly and very polite. Amazing experience would definitely go here again

The hibachi section was great. Our Chef was entertaining and the food was great. It was packed, very happy where we were seated. We had the Rainbow sushi for an appetizer, the Shrimp and Scallops with fried rice. The table did not get set with the sauce dishes, the chief had to excuse himself to get some, not his fault though. We were there for at least an hour before the Chef could cook for our group, simply because the hibachi grills are set up so close two Chefs cannot cook simultaneously. Aside from the minor issues, a great experience. Food, Chef and service was great and most likely a repeat visit just at a less busy time in the future.
