What makes it fun

The Antler Room is a neighborhood restaurant in the heart of Kansas City, Missouri. We focus on the overall experience, and our goal is to make our guests feel like they are coming home. Whether they are coming in for a small bite and a glass of wine at the bar, date night, or a celebration, we want them to feel welcome. Our menus change daily with inspiration stemming from seasonal ingredients, certain preparations, or dishes inspired by travels. We only have one ‘must’ for the dishes we serve: they have to be delicious. If we haven’t met you yet, we hope to soon.

The Wife and I had a date night here and the smell walking up was amazing! Didn't even make it in the door before we noticed it and commented on it. It's small plates so we ordered 5 things based on the staff recommendation. Everything was amazing but we didn't care for the calamari and smelt. It had a taki like seasoning in it that we didn't care for but everything else, AMAZING!

Thank you to all the workers and all those in the kitchen. My partner and I had several unfavorable services at proclaimed "fancy restaurants" but this place went above and beyond. They are welcoming, super friendly with everything and even quirky cute jokes that left my partner and I giggling.
The food was so exciting. The drinks were delicious. I loved the calamari and smelt so much I got a second plate of the same thing.
My partner loved the rabbit, first time and was so surprised. They really show out at this restaurant.
Thank you so so once again for the welcoming environment and delicious plates that my partner loved to share.
Beautiful and small intimate place to have a good time.

Unfortunately, we left antler room disappointed. I even over heard some one ask for all their dishes to be served at once so they could leave. I think maybe we went on a rough night, but we were there for almost 2.5 hours. And when paying $100 a person I do expect things to be executed accordingly. The food was solid. First dish was burnt, unfortunately. I hate writing a mediocre review of a place I was really looking forward to, but it was a disappointing experience. I’d like to give them another shot but I can’t justify it when there’s other favorites of mine.

Amazing food and impeccable service! Atmosphere is nice, but the restaurant runs cold, which takes away from the experience. The seats by the windows are the worst.

If you need a place to impress someone, have a date night, or just a cozy comforting meal, Antler Room is THE place. Every dish is a slice of heaven, and the homemade pasta is to die for. The staff and atmosphere are always warm and inviting. GO... any chance you get!

The Antler Room is my new favorite spot in KC! Food was beyond my expectations and their menu has a little bit for everyone whilst still being adventurous. Service was great as well! It was my first time ever here and the friendliness of the staff and just general vibe was lovely; Such a small cozy place to enjoy a delicious meal!

Just had the BEST anniversary dinner at The Antler Room!!! Service and staff were a perfect 10!!!!! The food was super! We took our 12 year old grandson and he LOVED everything! We will definitely visit again.

This place is impressive. In a city known for its barbecue, Antler Room raises the ante and executes perfectly. Picture here is a celery and kale salad and Georgian meat dumplings. The salad was an explosion of flavors and, quite honestly, the winner of the evening. But it had stiff competition: the dumplings were incredible. Not pictured was a lemon cake with huckleberries (good but not amazing). The service could not have been better, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. If you haven't been and you want to step it up for an-upscale-but-still-casual dinner, put this one on your short list!
