From a vendor standpoint, everything runs at a very high level. The staff is world-class—organized, communicative, and genuinely helpful from load-in all the way through the last song of the night. That kind of coordination makes a huge difference in executing a smooth timeline without stress or surprises.
The event spaces themselves are clean, modern, and very well designed for both aesthetics and function. The acoustics are excellent, which is a big plus for DJs and live entertainment, and the layout makes it easy to deliver a full production setup without feeling cramped or intrusive. Uplighting and sound naturally enhance the room thanks to the refined architecture and finishes.
What really elevates Meadowbrook, though, is the atmosphere. The surrounding park setting creates a beautiful backdrop for photos and guest experience, giving events a luxury-resort feel while still staying close to the city. The facilities are excellent, the staff friendly and professional and the rooms extremely comfortable. The decor creates a modern, farmhouse, but chic vibe and we think that this is a perfect setting for a wedding or business event.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and we struck up conversations with different families when we were sitting out by the fire pit, or enjoying brunch in the cafeteria.
I highly recommend this hotel; it's the best option that we've seen if you're staying in the Overland Park area.

The Inn is by far THE BEST HOTEL IN THE KC AREA. It's not even close. The property, the surroundings, the service are all immaculate. The hotel staff accommodated all requests my guests had. The surrounding park was amazing for guests, and the nearby park Clubhouse was useful to host another welcome dinner right across the street! Everyone complimented the hotel and said it was one of the best they'd ever staid at. This was a true 5 star experience.
I could not have imagined a better stay. Seriously, this hotel is amazing. Anyone that needs a nice place to stay, and/or needs to organize an event doesn't need to look elsewhere. THIS IS THE PLACE TO STAY. My wife and I will definitely be staying here again in the near future.
