Original Winsteads still has it. Good food good people. Try the onion rings. Of course don't skip the chocolate malt.

My party enjoyed a nostalgic meal here yesterday. The limeade was as good as I remembered from my childhood. My aunt enjoyed her chocolate frosty just as she did on her first date with my uncle in the 1960's.

Sat there for 15 minutes before a server approached our table. When she finally did, all we got was attitude. My grandma was excited to come back to the Winstead’s only for her experience to be ruined. Very disappointed. If you want a bad time, come to Winstead’s and request this lady!

Enjoyed our visit to Winsteads, definitely brings back the memories considering this is the last local location. The service was friendly and quick. The food was just as good as I remember. Crispy burger patties, crunchy sides and a tasty limeade with a small sherbet scoop.

I had never eaten here until this morning. I had been told that they have tasty burgers, yet I opted for breakfast!

The eggs were "broken yolk" scrambled. I do not like that style of eggs, though it could have been the cook's preference to prepare this method. I take serious issues with that, yet I never send things back. It sets a tone in restaurants for me; if the breakfast is good I will like the rest of the menu.

Probably would not have thier breakfast again, but I am happy to try a burger sometime!

My server was kind, sweet, and did a great job! The size of the coffee cup is generous and I never saw the bottom of my cup. That made the reasonable price of the meal that much more valuable!

One of the best hamburgers lately. It was $8.45 for a double burger with everything. Definitely worth it.

I had never been here and my friend brought me while I was visiting KC. The food is so cheap so make sure to tip your waitress/waiters generously! They were great and deserve more that $2 for you sitting there for an hour, because yes that is about 20% of what I spent on an entire meal.
