Waited outside for 45 minutes. In that time we saw 4 women (3 together, and another ten minutes later getting dropped off by a Lyft) cut the line and walk right inside. They didn't come back out in those 45m so they must have been sat and served.
Meanwhile we saw over the course of that 45 minute wait, 2 groups of two leave... And the line never moved. I get the impression these people got their James Beard and think they don't need to worry about service anymore.

My husband and I love Drastic. The staff are all wonderful, and when they aren't busy (which is rare) they are great to talk with. We got to the point where we had tried all but one drink on the summer 2023 menu (the flavor profile scared us😅), and told this to one of the owners. They explained to us, that if we enjoyed every other drink on the menu, to trust them. They do team meetings to build out every new menu, and it has to go through 5 palettes to get approved. So we ordered the drink and it was one of our favorites. They love what they do, so if you have a question about one of the drinks, ask. Also know, it's not a full bar type place. If you want to "order off the menu", it will be their take on the drink. But don't do that, you can get a vodka soda anywhere.

Drastic Measures Craft Cocktails exceeded expectations! Each round, from Karpas to Latke, delighted our taste buds. The Sufganiyot, Rugelach, and other concoctions were flavorful and inventive. Jay and the staff showcased exceptional service, enhancing our overall experience. Cheers to a memorable night of delicious cocktails and outstanding hospitality!

Drastic Measures is a spectacular bar with a captivating speakeasy vibe. The entrance with an old-fashioned knock on the door if the light is green is a charming touch that sets the tone for a memorable experience. Inside, the dim lighting creates an intimate atmosphere that makes you forget about the outside world. The service throughout the visit was impeccable and made me feel like a valued guest. But the true standout at Drastic Measures is the creative and delicious drink menu. The mixologists have created fantastic cocktails that I've never tasted before. My personal favorite was the "College dropout," which tasted like a perfect mix of spices and alcohol. If you're looking for a sophisticated and enjoyable night out, Drastic Measures should be at the top of your list.

Great atmosphere. Personal feel. Edgy drinks, with a prohibition flair. They make you feel as though the drink was made just for you. You want to to try something new, however, they are generous with their pours! A must try... hidden gem for Shawnee.

Had a delightful night with a dear friend, enjoying specialty cocktails during the Drastic Mensches event in December, supporting the Jewish community of greater KC. I have most definitely never seen a Rabbi light a menorah and offer blessings in a bar before! It was absolutely beautiful and fantastic.
This is an outstanding local business that gives back to our community in meaningful ways. Plus, they KNOW cocktails!

The wait is worth it if your into drink unique gourmet cocktails. The atmosphere is very calm and with lights kept dim makes for a great date night experience. Definitely going back! Also they make a mean old fashioned!

Very delicious and creative cocktails with friendly staff. Some nicer cocktail places try to create wildly unique drinks, but they end up tasting less than desirable. Not here! Everything we ordered was delicious and had great flavor, but was also unique and creative. Open seating at the bar, but definitely make reservations if you want a table.
