Sayachi, which shares the childhood nickname of his wife, is restauranteur Carlos Falcon's sushi restaurant. Falcon's passion for quality seafood combined with a deep admiration for cuisine from his wife's Japanese culture gave birth to Sayachi.

The gyoza is the best in kc we’ve tried other sushi places but the gyoza here is the crispiest and juiciest by far. I recommend the tebaski wings and ebisu ramen. Gyu don and California rolls also hit the spot…

A Crunchy Taste of KC
I recently visited Sayachi and had an incredible experience. The highlight of the meal was definitely the Kansas City Roll and the Gyoza.
The Gyoza: These were perfectly prepared. They had that ideal balance of a tender filling with a crisp, golden-brown sear on the outside that provided a satisfying crunch right from the start.
The Kansas City Roll: A must-try for locals and visitors alike. It was fresh, well-balanced, and stayed true to that "crunchy delicious" profile I was looking for.

If you’re looking for high-quality sushi and appetizers in the city, Sayachi delivers. I’ll definitely be back for more!

Very good happy hour menu. Our server Kevin (that’s the name on our receipt) was very kind and attentive.
We went during happy hour on a (very cold) Saturday and it wasn’t crowded at all. Gyoza was two-time order worthy.
The sangria was a typical sangria. The Hi-Chew refresher was a sweet type drink.
If we were looking for just good traditional sushi, we’d come back if we were in town.

It's alright. Not great sushi but definitely not bad. A bit pricy for what it is, probably due to its central Brookside location. Sister restaurant to Jarocho which is a delicious Mexican style seafood restaurant. Wife is Japanese, husband is Mexican. The chirashi bowl was nice, lunch-only though.

Really cool I love their protein Bowl. And they have karaoke on Friday nights. Call to check and see what day because it's every other friday.

Sayachi Sushi is my absolute favorite place to get sushi ever! They never cease to impress me and I always leave feeling so much better than I had when I arrived.

This past visit, their yaki gyoza was AMAZING! My parents and I were IN LOVE! Their tuna sashimi and yellowtail were just as amazing!

On top of it all, their staff are super friendly and love their job.

Sayashi Sushi is my absolute favorite sushi place ever! I highly request a visit here! You won’t regret it!

Wish I would’ve visited sooner. Cute little Brookside sushi joint. Ordered a couple rolls and few other items - really tasty. The fish was fresh, service was fast, and atmosphere was friendly. My brother thought the same. They have a cool robot that delivers your food. Would be a nice date spot and it’s close to couple other bars/restaurants that you could hop around to. The owners also own Jarocho Mexican seafood spot which I def plan to visit now.

We made reservations and we are glad we did. Everything was amazing!! Rolls where awesome !!! The grilled fresh lobster was unbelievable. Paul provided great service.
