Really cute, warm vibey place.
The electric fireplace and couches were pretty cute.
Service was good.
Drinks were strong and good.
Only critique was the music was terrible. Something like a wedding DJ/christian/modern country playlist.
For a place this cool and vibey, you really need a DJ in there or some better playlists.
I'm a DJ and I'm happy to help : )
Other than that, great place, would definitely suggest to friends with some musical tweaks of course.

I have been to Primrose many times now as we live near by and wanted to give them a shout out review. I haven’t had a cocktail I haven’t liked off their both their standard menu and seasonal rotations. I think they are one of the best cocktail spots in all of Kansas City. If I had critique it would be that it’s hard to hear because of the low ceilings and small space when it’s full, but that that’s not in their control.

I’ve been here many times and typically really enjoy it. Tonight was a 180. Service was abysmal. We were ignored for 20+ minutes with empty glasses, ready to order our next round while tables around us were checked on. We finally had to bus our own table in order to get our check. Not sure what is going on with this place, but what a disappointment.

Wonderful little bar tucked into the heart of Mission! The atmosphere was fantastic for a date night or small group of 4! Seemed like there was only seating for about 30 people total in the bar which added to the cozy aesthetic! We attended their holiday popup called the “Poinsettia” which had a huge variety of themed drinks for the holidays! We had an allergy to a few menu items and they were happily able to switch out some of the mixers to accommodate! (Side note: love that their menu has pictures of the drinks!)

Went last night, a Friday, for the first time after happening across it looking for cocktails nearby. I live in Mission and had no idea this was here. I hesitate to be too glowing because I want to go every night and will need a seat! 😆 The drinks were *chef's kiss* and staff superb - we had our own girls night and it was the best ever! My one and only request would be they have some small nibbles available. I'm sort of a lightweight with alcohol and nuts or the like would help me have that second cocktail. 🥴

We had such a good time tonight thanks to Jasmine!!

Our friend wanted a Long Island iced tea but she talked to him and made something special instead- I believe it was called a “French Kiss”? Idk if that’s the official name but our friend was freaking out and then he and his partner ordered 3 more. (It was a frothy chocolate drink, you gotta get it).

She clearly loved creating unique drinks and they were all so delicious! Can’t wait to visit and try the other ones.

One from the summer 2024 list called “morning dew” is what I will be ordering next. Anyone who is a fan of peaches, white sangria, or anything fresh and flavorful should get it too.

Oh, also! I got the spicy margarita- you have to choose the spice level (1-10). When eating spicy food, I usually get “medium”. If you also like “medium spicy” things, pick 3 or 4 for the spiciness level.

We have heard good things about this bar. However, the website says they do not accept reservations "first come first served." We went in at 5:45 p.m. There were at least 6 seats available at the bar, but they refused to seat us, saying that they had a party coming in and all their seats were booked for at least 2 hours. The Primrose's website and actions need to match! We will not be back.

The drinks were incredible, I wish I could have tried them all. The bartenders were so friendly and offered up suggestions. It’s a small cozy cocktail bar that’s beautifully decorated. Will definitely be coming back!

Dark and eclectic with a splash of classy vintage vibes cascading across your taste buds. The quaint patio is perfect for a spring evening and the bartender creates a classy cocktail that'll melt your stress away..

Love the dragons house and very nice, relaxed ambiance. There’s not a lot of seating inside if your group is bigger than 2. In warmer weather there is nice seating outside too.
